Construction across Central Park's 2 residential buildings DUO and Wonderland is progressing well with significant advancements from facade installation and the rise in structure clearly visible.
DUO, DUO Limited Edition & West tower | RESIDENTIAL & MIXED USE
The structure of DUO (East tower) is now complete following the slab pour of the top floor - level 18. Jumpform has also been completed with lift shaft topped off. DUO's facade install has reached level 12, providing a very good indication of the final look of the building as designed by Foster + Partners. In the basement, installation of plant and equipment to plant room and fire spray installation are underway.
DUO Limited Edition (West tower, levels 13 to 18), slab works have been completed to level 13. The facade for level 3's child care centre has also been installed in the past week and the Y columns supporting the cantilever building above The Australian Hotel can be see along Broadway and Abercrombie Street.
Wonderland | RESIDENTIAL
Set right across from Chippendale Green, Wonderland is being supporting by over 200 construction workers each day with the structure advancing 3 levels since last month's update. The structure is now reaching level 7 and jumpform for all 3 cores have climbed to level 8. Installation of the basement services continue along with the installation and the connection to the Central Thermal Plant has been completed.
