Two big events, one big day: Saturday 19 March
Saturday 19 March is a great day to visit Central Park, with two events at once:
1. Community Information Session
If you’d like to know more about this development direct from the people who are managing the task day to day, drop in to the Central Park Display Pavilion between 12 noon and 3pm when Frasers’ senior development team will be on site to answer your questions directly. You might be interested in knowing more about the construction works underway or coming up, public art, the recently announced retail centre, the main park or something else entirely. A short presentation will be given at 2pm, or you can drop in any time. No RSVP necessary.
The Community Information Session is held within the Central Park Display Pavilion at 80 Broadway (near corner Abercrombie Street), Chippendale.
2. FraserStudios Open Studio + Exhibition
Drop in to FraserStudios from 2pm to 5pm for one of our regular Open Studio days. FraserStudios is located on Kensington Street, Chippendale, within the Central Park development site.
We throw the roller doors open at FraserStudios from time to time to showcase the work of FraserStudios Visual Arts Residency artists and welcome the public in to wander through the studio spaces and meet the current crop of artists enjoying free studio space.
On exhibition this weekend will be Welcome, showcasing the four honours graduates selected for the Queen Street Studio Residency Award. There will be a gourmet sausage sizzle (with vegetarian option), drinks, music and creative company. No RSVP necessary.
FraserStudios is at 10-14 Kensington Street (just off Broadway near The Clare Hotel), a short stroll from the Central Park Display Pavilion.
