Sydney architects Tzannes Associates are transforming the old Brewery at Central Park into a brand new building of “spectacular dimensions” for restaurants, cafes, plazas, shops and events, creating a venue unlike any other in Sydney.
If you work in the CBD, King Street Wharf is the perfect place to unwind after work with a glass of wine or a chilled beer. Popular venues include Bungalow 8, The Loft, Malaya, and Kobe Jones.
Located at the harbour’s edge, Woolloomooloo is home to many of Sydney’s finest dining establishments. From Central Park, it’s a short taxi ride to the wharf, or simply catch a bus to the Sydney Art Gallery and stroll down the hill to the pier.
In Sydney’s midtown, Sydney Theatre Company is located in the old wharves and warehouses aligning Walsh Bay. Its artistic director is the famous Australian actress Cate Blanchett, and her husband Andrew Upton.
Capitol Theatre is Sydney’s answer to Broadway or West End, and hosts many of Sydney’s best musicals. It lies within walking distance of Central Park in downtown Sydney.
