    NEWS CENTRAL PARK IS COMING SOON

    The first residential stage of Central Park, pending approvals, will be two towers on Broadway, opposite the UTS Broadway campus. The taller of these buildings will match the height of the UTS tower, and in total the stage will contain around 600 apartments. A diverse selection of apartments will range from 1 bedroom suites to grand penthouses. Designed by French architect Jean Nouvel — 2009 Pritzker Prize winner — these residential buildings feature vertical gardens designed by Patrick Blanc and a dramatic cantilevered heliostat which will direct sunlight to the adjoining parkland and provide a dramatic lighting display at night.

    Pricing for this stage has not yet been released, but is anticipated to start from the high $400,000s.

    A Project Application for this stage is currently with the NSW Department of Planning. Pending approval, the Jean Nouvel towers will be available to purchase off the plan from mid-2010, with construction to take approximately three years.
