    CONSTRUCTION UPDATES APRIL 2011

    ONE CENTRAL PARK

    • Watpac are now well-established at One Central Park, having commenced construction in December 2010.
    • The first of two cranes is now on-site, with another to follow in June.
    • Photographer Simon Wood is documenting the construction as part of a long-term project which began in 2007. His beautiful images feature in these Construction Updates.

    MAIN PARK

    • With underground infrastructure completed, ground works on the main park - we're told it has been named 'Chippendale Green' by the City of Sydney - will soon commence, pending some final approvals. 
    • The main park construction and landscaping will take approximately 5 months, so we're now anticipating completion of the park before the end of this year.

    OTHER WORKS

    • One Central Park and the nearby Park Lane residential buildings share a common basement, so excavation of both sites has been undertaken concurrently. While excavation of One Central Park's lowest levels has completed, excavation of Park Lane's basements continues.
